Mission

Holy Trinity Blue & Gold is a non-profit organization comprised of parents, school administrators, community leaders, and alumni. The primary focus of the Blue & Gold is to provide financial assistance to support the school’s physical plant, academic offerings, and athletic programs.  Through fundraising efforts, Holy Trinity Blue & Gold will help maintain and improve athletic and academic facilities at our campuses, purchase equipment for our students, conduct and provide support for athletic and academic programming, and distribute scholarships for underprivileged students.

Q: What is Blue & Gold

A: The Blue & Gold foundation is a non-profit charitable organization that will provide an new stream of funding for Holy Trinity School.  The foundation provides parents, alumni and other members of the community with a tax-deductible way to contribute to the future success of the school.  Our mission is a three-pronged approach to ensure our school grows and continues to thrive.  We will fund long-needed upgrades to our in-demand gymnasium facilities. We will help fund academic, extracurricular and athletic programs to ensure our school continues to stand above.  We will establish the Blue & Gold Tuition Assistance Program to keep a Catholic education financially accessible for as many families as possible.  

Q: What are your initial goals

The initial goal is to spread the word about the foundation and to initiate the funding efforts with our key centers of influence. 

The foundation will focus on smaller grants initially, providing resources for school improvement projects.  As the funding efforts develop, the foundation will expand its grants, focusing on the mission of providing support for educational and athletic activities.

All requests for grants from the school administration will be vetted through a foundation's process that will require a committee vote in order to approve funds to be distributed.

Q: Why now?

Education costs and capital expenses continue to grow, while funding from the Archdiocese is decreasing. We believe that we need to develop a funding vehicle that is not attached to traditional means.  The Blue & Gold foundation will operate independently of the Archdiocese and will provide a protected vehicle to support Holy Trinity School.
